The awards ceremony was held at Newark's Prudential Center to honor big names in pop music today. And Taylor Swift ties the record for most VMA wins in one night!
Highlights of Taylor's best night at VMAs
Taylor Swift leads the nominations this year, with eight nominations all around 2022's "Anti-Hero." Single Midnights is nominated for Video of the Year alongside SZA's "Kill Bill.", one of six total nominations for the SOS mastermind.
Despite not releasing any full music videos for last year's Renaissance, Beyoncé still earned a nomination for Artist of the Year. Doja Cat, Olivia Rodrigo, Miley Cyrus, and Nicki Minaj are all up for multiple honors this year, and the latest group of first-time nominees includes Boygenius, Ice Spice, GloRilla, Flo Milli, and more.
